Biography:

Nazanin Loghmonie was born May 8, 1969 in Tehran. She studied and worked in Germany since 1989. Nazanin learned the art of silk painting during her study in Bonn. "At the beginning, I painted them as class projects and gave them to my friends as gifts. Later, it became more fun and my art form. It has been my passion ever since," said the artist.

Her work is well received in her native town Tehran and were exhibited in the gallery "Nag she Jahan" and gallery "Tarh o Rank" in October 2001, and in March and October of 2002. In an interview with the newspaper Etemmud in Tehran, she said, "an artist must have the courage to move freely and to be open."
